Hawn, funny and touching, is a delight throughout and Heckart gets a film role that enables her to display versatility.

This movie is a definite sleeper, even after all these years. Goldie did a good job with a serious role. This film is really not a comedy, despite the ads for it.

Part of the reason I love this movie so much has to do with the fact the Edward Albert looks like a boy I loved in Germany named Martin, but even still it's so sweet and funny!
