Blending seamlessly the outstanding performances of its two stars, a sweeping epic western plot and superbly intelligent writing, Butch Cassidy was not only the standard by which every western thereafter was judged, but every film to follow.

A classic adventure which is easy to ride along to. Two of the greats with added chemistry and humour. Yes its cheesy in parts but thats ok.

Pairing Newman and Redford proved never to be a bad idea, especially when portraying the greatest pair of outlaws in the wild west. Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid is a traditional western without cold and rugged seriousness, which is the all-to-often tone of westerns. It's great to see a more lighthearted and fun approach to the genre without sacrificing the quality of acting and story. Packed with enough dynamite to blow a Union Pacific Flyer, there's never a dull moment with these two. My favorite western of all time.

I really liked this flick. Great dialogue and a constantly moving plot kept things interesting for the entire two hours.
