Very real. There are a lot of things to sympathize with Nora if you are 20s or 30s single woman.

My favorite Parker Posey performance, perhaps outside of The House of Yes. There is great chemistry onscreen between Poset and and the charismatic male lead Melvil Poupaud who, before now, was unknown to me. Drea de Matteo also deserves mention. Here she proves that she's a lot more than Adrianna La Cerva, with a more understated role. This film is just fun to watch. The slight to mighty quirkiness of all Posey's characters is not lost in Broken English. She delivers what her fans love about her. Look out for this one for sure.

I absolutely love this movie. The ending reminded me of the "miracle" of Rohmer movies. Both leading characters' actings are convencing and superb!

Fantastic, in depth, realistic character study. Not your typical love story at all. Very in-tune with the suffering nature of love. Easily one of the best of 2007.
