Brick Mansions (2014)

In a dystopian Detroit, grand houses that once housed the wealthy are now homes of the city's most-dangerous criminals. Surrounding the area is a giant wall to keep the rest of Detroit safe. For undercover cop Damien Collier, every day is a battle against corruption as he struggles to bring his father's killer, Tremaine, to justice. Meanwhile, Damien and an ex-con named Lino work together to save the city from a plot to destroy it.

Over all this was pretty descent for a remake into English version not many films are good when remade into a different language. Paul Walker was a good fit in my option for the part and it was funny seeing the French guy David Belle speaking English :D

I actually don't understand why this got poor reviews. I really enjoyed this movie. It was my kind of movie, with a double cross and a hidden agenda. Maybe people weren't into the parkour and some say the editing wasn't up to par, which I can understand. But overall, I really like it and people should give it a second chance. It is an action movie, and those aren't always deep or meaningful. But it is fun to watch... To me anyway.
