Every time I watch this one, i feel walking into my boss' office and demanding for a raise in a very loud and dramatic fashion.

a film of facts; like a documentary. not much acting but it is realistic. so, let's get organized!!!

There's every reason to watch Bread and Roses for what Loach really does best: He involves us directly in the desperate lives of his characters, who are forced to live without security and who have to compromise to make ends meet. And, above all, who feel as real as moviemaking allows.

common theme of the middle class director, Ken Loach depicting illegal immigration rights and unions. Starring Pilar Padilla as Maya employed as a maid at a high class hotel crossing paths with Sam (Adrien Brody) attempting to form an union within the janitor workers of the hotel.

Un Ken Loach decevant et ennuyant. Un film pour servir la cause sans les interets.
