Body of Evidence (1993)

When an elderly millionaire is found dead with cocaine in his system, his will leaves $8 million to Rebecca Carlson, who was having an affair with him. District attorney Robert Garrett decides to prosecute Rebecca, arguing that she deliberately engaged in wild sex with the old man to overexcite him and lead to his premature death. Defense attorney Frank Dulaney defends Rebecca in court while getting sucked into a dangerous affair with her.

The story revolves around a woman accused of killing her lover, and the lawyer who defends her. I like court room drama. May be if I say it is not a good film but ideas Madonna expressing worth to see. May be every body getting they deserve.

This movie was total trash, and a complete ripoff of Basic Instinct. But I like the genre and was involved while watching it, so sue me. (B-)

I am surprised this movie got such a bad rap, I enjoyed the movie and it actually kept me intrigued to see how it was going to end. Maybe it was Madonna that drug it down, but overall I thought it was a good storyline. Not intensely thrilling, but I was satisfying.
