Had never heard of this but thought i'd give it a try..and glad i did one of the best japanesse films i've seen well in fact just one the best films Japanese or otherwise!! would recommend it to everyone.

This is my favourite movie of all time. Words cannot express the love for this film that I have! It doesn't matter who you are or what kind of movies you like, it's worth seeing it anyway.

It might be confusing at first. Although a slow movie, this is well done. Patience will pay off. Blue Spring is one of those movies that you need to watch more than once.

Brilliant. Stylistically, thematically, and dramatically everything I could ever want in a high school drama. The soundtrack (which is amazing in itself) compliments it perfectly. A connection is felt with each character as everything slowly goes to hell in a handbasket and internal conflict becomes external conflict. All of the emotion culminates in an unforgettable ending - my favourite sequence of all time.
