So real it is almost uncomfortable to watch. Blue Jasmine is one of Woody Allen's best. The story, the costuming, the makeup, the cinematography, everything there was crafted to portray a story so heartbreaking and real that you will walk out feeling like you lived it. Cate Blanchett played crazy so well, it is really no surprise at all why she won the Oscar for Best Actress at all. A must-see for all film connoisseurs!

A real character driven drama superbly acted by Cate Blanchett who adds swathes of colour to a neurotic and prejudiced persona that clatters through everyone's lives causing conflict and strain throughout. This may sound like a serious affair but Blanchett adds highly amusing traits into the fold making the film a joy to watch from start to finish.
