I liked it because they kept to the story line mostly

not nearly as bad as I have been lead to believe. Sure some of the acting could have used another take or two, and there are a few plot holes, but I have seen FAR worse

Another Uwe Boll success. Fun, fast, entertaining, and funny. It was far better than I anticipated and the cast showed it's great strength... Well - whoever cast Michael Madsen should have been fired as he just did not fit in the genre; but despite him, the movie cranked out edge of the seat entertainment. Is it a B-Movie? Yes! A great B-Movie. As a highlight, Rodriguez and Kingsley truly became their characters. The effects, acting (besides Madsen), mood, choreography, and more were all perfect. There were some post-production glitches I would have edited differently - but they didn't do much harm. Madsen and those glitches are all that keeps this from a 10/10.

I am a vampire movie junky, so I have a bias. But even I have to say, this wasn't that spectacular, though an interesting premise.

How do people like Sir Ben Kingsley work with people like Uwe Boll? I really dont care he makes bad movies and i thank him for it
