This is the second Dela Torre film I've seen, and as with his first, the mood is dark and brooding. There are surprises at every turn, strong camera work, cool sound, and great performances. Dirty cops, vampires, and a hot, scary femme fatale at the center. Can't go wrong here!

Fewer cops and more full-tilt vampire batshittery might not have resulted in a more coherent movie, necessarily, but almost certainly would've made for a more captivating one.

Anne Curtis' gaze is hypnotizing - this film had all the moments (and blood!) you want to see in a dark supernatural thriller, and if that sounds like your type of film, you have GOT to see Blood Ransom!

Things are so cheap they didn't even spring for uniforms for the so-called cops; everybody seems to be wearing their street clothes.

This was a great movie! It's a very refreshing take on the age old tale of vampires with a modern twist. The camera work is fantastic and the well rounded characters keep you hooked throughout the movie. Jamie Harris especially steals the film as Bill. A great movie with a well-rounded cast.
