Blood Freak (1972)

A biker comes upon a girl with a flat tire and offers her a ride home. He winds up at a drug party with the girl's sister, then follows her to a turkey farm owned by her father, a mad scientist. The father turns the biker into a giant turkey monster who goes after drug dealers.

I'm serious - A muscle-bound doofus becomes a junkie by trying marijuana, gets a job at a turkey farm where he is fed contaminated meat that turns him into a turkey headed creature that feeds his cravings for blood by killing other junkies in the name of the lord. In one of the greatest moments in motion picture history - Mr. Turkey-head cuts a man's leg off with a table-saw. The resulting stump gripping death scream seems to last 17 minutes. I actually own this oddity.

I didn't finish watching it, but whatever. It was shitty to the point of hilarity and made Plan 9 From Outer Space look like a mild disappointment. I guess I just wasn't in the mood for shit. Sad, I suppose. Or... Not. Fuck you.

The only Christian movie where Christianity fails and succeeds all at once. It fails to spread it's anti-drug message and forced cult status but it succeeds in making entertainment. This would be like if the Christian church made 2012 today and instead of a bunch of people going to church they just ended up being awed by the CGI.

This is too slow too often to be any sort of cult classic, but some of the shit in here is incomprehensibly bizarre and awesome. Like...the intermittent narration about the dangers of "introducing chemicals to your body" by a man choking on his cigarette. Or having sex with a turkey-headed man. Or the same canned scream repeating itself fifteen times on end. Or the editing, which I easily could have done a better job of. Or...I don't know. I could go on forever. This is just surreal.
