Blood Freak (1972)

A biker comes upon a girl with a flat tire and offers her a ride home. He winds up at a drug party with the girl's sister, then follows her to a turkey farm owned by her father, a mad scientist. The father turns the biker into a giant turkey monster who goes after drug dealers.

I didn't finish watching it, but whatever. It was shitty to the point of hilarity and made Plan 9 From Outer Space look like a mild disappointment. I guess I just wasn't in the mood for shit. Sad, I suppose. Or... Not. Fuck you.

This might be the strangest movie I have ever seen. Mind boggling on every possible level. It is hard to put my feelings about this film into words.

The only Christian movie where Christianity fails and succeeds all at once. It fails to spread it's anti-drug message and forced cult status but it succeeds in making entertainment. This would be like if the Christian church made 2012 today and instead of a bunch of people going to church they just ended up being awed by the CGI.

Beware, The Turkey Monster! A truly amazing film that is an anti-drug, pro-Christianity, over the top gory, horror/morality film with a man who becomes a bloodthirsty, horrific, rampaging were-turkey. This anti drug fable is narrated by a chainsmoking gentleman who happens to have a coughing fit in the middle of a take. The lead in the film is some guy who used to play Tarzan, but got badly burned and wound up making b-movie, kind of a sad story, but this movie wouldn't be the same without him. What a performance! It seems like it should be a tongue in cheek, homage to exploitation films, but trust me, everyone in this is sincere and serious. Really has to be seen, many, many times, to be believed.

Absolutely awful but quite funny pro-Christian film about a man who got turned into a homicidal halfman-turkey when he took drugs and gave into sexual temptation.
