I enjoyed watching this movie. Actually I was expecting worse but ended up over my expectations.

Not a bad movie overall for a new and upcoming director, ill be honest with you the only reason I saw it is because John Woo's name was attached. However after watching it I was thrown off with approach and really found myself enjoying it nonetheless.

Great directorial debut for Alexi Tan and a definite plus to have it backed by John Woo and Terence Chang. A nicely executed gangster flick with an interesting twist having it set in 1930's Shanghai. A simple story with a bit of action, violence, singing, dancing and romance.
