Blithe Spirit is a disappointing film. It is about Charles and his second wife, Ruth, who are haunted by the spirit of his first wife, Elvira. Rex Harrison and Constance Cummings give terrible performances. The screenplay is badly written. David Lean did a horrible job directing this movie. I was not impressed with this motion picture.

Little Tommy Tucker sings for his supper, What shall we give him but brown bread and butter. This is one of the lines from the movie that was delivered by Margaret Rutheford who plays a medium at a siance to conjur up some ghosts Very entertaining movie, full of one liners. This movie is very hard to get in the U.S. When I ordered it, it came from England and could only be used on a pal system.

Great film, i used to watch this as a kid and i loved it back then, now i love it even more it's a great laugh and even my anthony enjoyed it :)
