Shelton obviously wants to distill something innocent and romantic from a relationship the world saw as sleazy. A noble mission. But he's left out a few essentials — like the facts.

This is one of the greatest love stories I have seen on film. It is an underrated Gem. I personally it should be re released to theatres promoted as a new film, and people will come because Paul newmans in it! It will have better coverage, and a better D.V.D made. Earl K. Long was a brave man, being a progressive govenor in the south at that time. He he seems to be a genius using rascism of other people to advance african americans role in society. I love this film!

A fun movie to watch. Newman gives a great performance and Lolita Davidovich provides the fire.

Blaze is a celebration of the sporting life, as zesty as Cajun music and as tickly as a feather boa.

Foley's cult may never grow as big as his most ardent fans would like. But Hawke and Rosen and Dickey have given the man something better than posthumous record sales.
