Actually not a bad movie, better than orginally expected. Having this idea be in a movie and make it work in a way, it should be seen.

I like high school / college centered movies but this one didn't donit for me. boring story with a mopey protagonist. It gets an extra half a point because of Olivia Wilde

I'm a fan of theoretical physicists, they're the rock stars of science, so i'm predisposed to enjoy any movie to about them. Here we have an "American Pie" take on the subject. While not as good as TV's Big Bang Theory it's a valiant effort at making us believe there's hope that a reclusive genius can get laid.

The filmmakers make the mistake of never really telling us what these "cool ideas" are. The characters seem impressed by them, but not letting the viewer in on it is not, in this case, creative storytelling - it's annoying. A pre-"House" Olivia Wilde saunters around looking sexy (admittedly why I watched this in the first place). Characters come and go at a moment's notice (Look! There's Cheryl Hines! ... and now she's gone!)

I liked it a lot, quirky and fun, and definitly some awesome characters. Its all about the orgasming D&D nerds. Woo!
