This was one of the best movies that I've seen in a while. The only bad thing is that it was kinda cheaply made.

Just like how bad endings can ruin an otherwise good film for me, awesome endings can make a decent film that much better. And Bickford Shmeckler's Cool Ideas had one of the awesomest endings I've ever seen in a teen comedy. A feel good film for the most part that reminds us to slow down and live in the moment. Cause life is awesome... fundamentally.

Caught it on comedy central and it really wasn't as bad as some of the crap they've been showing lately and I had been wondering where the hell Patrick Fugit had been. Now I know.

For some reason I thought about Napoleon Dynamite when I saw this film. The weird kid with no friends that's different. But that's where the similarities stop. This kid has a journal that gets stolen and the film is about his quest to get it back. Overall the movie was alright.
