Whether you like it or not will depend largely on your appetite for the weird. Every single character here is eccentric, does not belong to the mainstream but seems to inhabit the fringes.

A bold attempt at bringing subtlety to Indian cinema. I mean that in the best way possible. It's a movie that skillfully depicts the entrenched misery of unhappy families. A light take on a dark subject, it makes its point without laying heavy on the heart, for which the audience is grateful. Great performances from all the actors, but particularly from Saif Ali Khan and the ironically named Inspector Lovely.

Wow, something really different from the typical Bollywood fare. SAK puts in an awesome performance in this ultra-dark story about a Parsi family in Bombay. A great independent film highly recommended to all.
