Tragic story, not as powerful as Ladri di Biciclette but still beautiful in its intensity.

The film's hero is a bore and his innocence soon becomes a questionable kind of inexcusable dumb innocence.

People seem way to quick to compare this movie to The Bicycle Thief and not to its more obvious connection to Lao She's classic Beijing novel "Rickshaw Boy". It is definitely an interesting movie that is worth seeing.
