Trippy early 70's fun with everyone's favorite murder mystery writer.

"Bedknobs and Broomsticks," based on two tedious novels by Mary Norton, single-handedly proves that the creativity in Disney's writing department was in full spark following Walt's death. I'm amazed at how such a forgettable novel was turned into such an uplifting, fun and memorable Disney musical classic! The story-line is convincing and brings magic and spark into a re-telling of one of the darkest hours in not-so-recent history. Angela Lansbury is bewitching!

Oh my god I totally forgot about this movie. I loved it when I was a child!

One of my favorite "older" disney movies. A wonderfully imagined world.

A classic but underrated Disney musical, this delightful Marry Poppins-esque film hosts numerous songs which will be stuck in your head for a very long time. David Tomlinson, who was also in Marry Poppins, steals the film, and sings my favorite song in the film - "Portabello Road". If you enjoy Marry Poppins, Pete's Dragon, or any of those other 1960-1970's Disney musicals, definitely give this a watch.
