Forced to face the cruel side of life, a devastated, bankrupt merchant chances upon the enchanted castle of a hideous creature, the mere sight of it chills the bone to the marrow. Very beautiful but wanted to see more romance between the beast and belle. It kinda all just happened too quick so say she fell in love with the beast.

Gans and co-writer Sandra Vo-Anh deliver a 'Beauty' of a package that befittingly wallows in the shadows of previous 'Beast' editions. This fairy tale falls short of its entertaining goal despite its pleasing, tangy wrapping.

I've read many adaptations of the Beauty and the Beast fairytale and this movie was one of the more enjoyable storylines. The set, costumes and music were fantastical and Lea does an amazing job as Bell! Definitely a must see for fairytale/fantasy lovers.
