I tend not to enjoy the films where Buster plays such high class characters, though he can be credited with being a good silent film actor (besides a brilliant comedian and director). The plot also suffers from one of those facrical mistaken identities Buster himself wasn't overly fond of. Despite these weaknesses, the film is carried by a string of smart gags, peaking with a truly action-packed boxing sequence. While not as compulsory as other Buster Keaton films, it's amusing and worth a look.

One of my favourite Keaton films. Hilarious and one of the best stories of Keaton's films.

Pretty funny, although it had some slow spots. Keaton gives another brilliant performance as a rich weakling who has to learn how to box. There is much comedy to be mined from this situation and Keaton does not fail us.

A decent Buster Keaton feature with still the same comic and romantic touches mixed perfectly into a film. 77/100

Keaton enters the boxing ring as an imposter of the lightweight champion of the world to impress a girl. Needless to say he is in a tight spot.
