The film is beautifully directed by Don Argott and produced by Sheena Joyce. The one thing that's missing is commentary from Kane's side of the story.

While the documentary has an extremely interesting subject matter, it may only appeal to Batman fans.

With a character as well known as Batman, it is shocking and tragic that the story of his co-creator has not been told until now. The story of Bill Finger's passion and ideas for the character of Batman, along with the harrowing realities of corporate cruelty make for a poignant documentary.

A powerful film that comes straight from the Heart. Although it is primarily about a Comic Creator it is also about obsession, betrayal and family trauma. In that way it is appealing to a larger audience than just comic fans. In essence the credited creator of Batman airbrushed his collaborator out of the picture. That man was Bill Finger. The story of this injustice is one often told among comic fans. I had been hearing about this for many years .One man made it his work to right this wrong and became almost obsessive about it. There are many obstacles and seeming dead-ends. How he overcomes these and discovers light at the end of the tunnel is fascinating to watch. One of the most uplifting stories because everyone involved just wanted to see justice done.
