A lot of people are saying that the feminist spiel is a bit on the nose, not realizing that THAT is the brand of Barbie. There is nothing subtle in the Barbieland. Barbie unabashedly and advertently attempts to tell the story. It is a satire to highlight the contrast between the real and the fake world which a lot of dumb people are shrugging off saying it is complaining and preaching. It is a perfect ending to both Barbie and Ken's story. I wished Allen got his too. overlooking Allen is my only issue with this movie. The casting was perfect. Especially Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling shine through and through. Hope it opens new doors for Greta. Can't wait to see more from her.

Amazing movie experience. Wonderful cast, bold and classy script. It will annoy anyone who doesn't agree with the premise that basically humans should be treated better, and humans need to stop punching down in order to lift themselves up. Ryan Gosling's turn as stereotypical Ken is a delight but Allen... Allen was a wonderful surprise! Greta's script walks the line of not annoying Mattel (IP) too much and not overplaying the point that, yes, we know Barbie dolls are very problematic. There was cheering in our screening. Everyone seemed to leave on a high. Overall it is one of the best movies I've seen in a long time.

I pity those who cannot find joy, humor, insight, and even emotion from this movie. Saw it in a packed theater and the vibe was electric. Anyone who contends that the messaging of this film is harmful or anti-man is media illiterate, orI pity those who cannot find joy, humor, insight, and even emotion from this movie. A fun time with lots of laughs. People seem really upset that they bought tickets to this PG-13 Barbie movie marketed to adults and isn't for men or children under 13.

I honestly didn't like this movie at all. Plot was very weak, meh writing and overall the entire movie had this weird vibe. It wasn't like the trailers.
