Bandolero! (1968)

Posing as a hangman, Mace Bishop arrives in town with the intention of freeing a gang of outlaws, including his brother, from the gallows. Mace urges his younger brother to give up crime. The sheriff chases the brothers to Mexico. They join forces, however, against a group of Mexican bandits.

James Stewart is one of the finest actors ever and doesn't disappoint in this one. Raquel Welch is definitely looking hot in this one!

Decent western, actually has the feel of a 50's western more than one made in the late 60's, in a good way. It's a bit of a stretch to accept Jimmy and Dean as brothers but it doesn't hurt the overall film. Briskly directed and with a good cast of reliable supporting performers.

A rather good example of that sub-genre, the Raquel Welch Western. Raquel is assisted in strolling and riding around looking gorgeous by a solid cast including James Stewart, George Kennedy and Dean Martin. However, the whole thing is a bit of an anticlimax after that excellent, tension-filled first half hour.

One of the great late westerns. Jimmy Stewert and Dean Martin play loveable bad guys that you can't help but root for.
