Ian Hart's portrayal of a young John Lennon: exquisite! Provides great perspective on the relationship between Lennon and his best friend, one-time Beatle, Stuart Sutcliffe. We're also introduced to the influential photographer Astrid Kirchr, and Klaus (responsible for Beatles' "Revolver" album cover). If you're a Beatle fan, or love music, this movie is a must-see!

sex, drugs, and rock n'roll! Really refreshing to see this part of the beatles story take the forefront. I love the soundtrack as well. But I couldn't buy Ian Hart as John Lennon.

The film tells the story of the original, little-known fifth Beatle, Stuart Sutcliffe, a young painter with rock n' roll sensibility who in 1960 forgoes his promising art career to join his best friend John Lennon (nicely played by Ian Hart) in Berlin.
