Ashes and Snow (2005)
Ashes and Snow, a film by Gregory Colbert, uses both still and movie cameras to explore extraordinary interactions between humans and animals. The 60-minute feature is a poetic narrative rather than a documentary. It aims to lift the natural and artificial barriers between humans and other species, dissolving the distance that exists between them.

Definitely the most beautiful film I've seen in my entire life. It is a breath-taking experience to watch the marvellous photography accompanied by poetic extracts and soundtrack. This movie is part of a project by Gregory Colbert that involves photography, art expositions and a book. It shows a deep and innocent relation between people and animals in a level above magic. A real threat for the eyes and ears of all animal lovers like me.

On our wildest trip to our self consciousness we should let us be free to dive deeper to the world we never knew it excists. This is the piece of the world beyond us.

This has to be one of the most beautifully done films I have ever seen. There are limited lines mostly quotes. the photography is totally awesome and blows the view away with it's visually stunning beauty. More a nature film set to classical Indian music. If you are looking for a plot, don't there is none. It is just pure grace and beauty. the quote " Dancing a dance with no steps." No it isn't in my library but you can believe me it is going to be.
