I hated it that her friend died but this is a very good movie, i give it 100 stars out of 5 :)

Adele and Ann are not easy screen characters to like, but they are easy to believe in -- especially in the skins of Sarandon and Portman.

again, one of my favorite movies of all time, it made me fall in love with Los Angeles... and me making a very similar journey (albeit i was alone) and me having an equally akward relationship with my father, it hits home. Natalie Portman and Susan Surandon rock
