awesome. the egg scene is a killer. cringing now thinking about it.

Unlike most horror movies, which depend on the element of surprise to deliver its shocks, this film is much more frightening the seconfd time around because you know what is going to happen. De Niro peeling eggs is just a pretentious twat the first time around, and the second time round...... *shudder*

One of those movies one can watch over and over again. It never looses its 'charm'. Scary, beautiful, intense. Witty.

A highly controversial movie. The symbolism in this film is great. It is based on a novel, and is (again) one of the rare cases where the film is much better than the book.

this was the first thriller movie I watched as a teenager. I was very scared. I kept digging my mind if I might have sold my soul to devil and forgotten just like Mickey for a long time :) I also felt like devil was trying to trade with me when I went to bed at night :) now I am 36 years old and this is the first title that comes to my mind when I talk about thrillers :)
