The movie is horribly sad ! Ellen Page and Catherine Keener were excellent in their roles ! I cried my eyes out during the end ! I found it hard to watch some parts of the movie especially in the middle and the end is very depressing and sickening !

This movie has a hard lesson to teach all of us. Take care of the ones we love. Don't take them for granted. Sad movie but really good.

The saddest, and one of the most distubing movies I have ever seen. I cried through most of the movie. The parents should have been charged with neglect or abandonment leaving Sylvia and Jenny with that psycho and Gertrude Baniszewski should have gotten the death penalty!

The book had more detail, however the movie delivered the point. Ellen Page is excellent.
