It's truly as bad as everyone says. I went in to the flick wanting to like it, so I could argue with all the naysayers. Experiment failed.

I don't usually like movies about movies. I hated "The Player"... And maybe because of that I don't hate this movie as much. It's not really a funny movie and the satire misses the mark like missing the broad side of a barn, but I kinda dug it. Plus, I enjoyed the people who showed up in it. Namely Harvey frickin' Weinstein. Holy crap, how'd they get him!?!?

This film simply does not work. Supposedly funny, it occasionally is, but rarely. Mostly it is stupid. Crude, and dumb. The scattering of big star cameos does not help much, mostly it is insulting to them. Meant to be clever and witty, but fails completely.

This was a really terrible satire of hollywood. The whole Alan Smithee thing is actually funny but the story itself was so bad no matter how many big names are in it.
