many movies have been made about making movies, including many satires. This stands out among that group as being particularly good.

Possibly the 'This is Spinal Tap' of the movie industry. (My opinion; yours may differ). Very funny poke at the Hollywood movie industry. Eric Idle is one of the British comedy greats and does polish this otherwise "not bad" film.

Fairly funny faux-doc about a fake movie. Also contains an insane amount of cameos.

A so-so soundtrack can't keep "Burn, Hollywood, Burn" from being unmemorable, uneventful, repetative, thrown together and dull with unfunny jokes that range from obvious to offensive, leaving it to be an absolutely expendable concauction and an unbearbly boring, offensively unfunny and above all, disgustingly pretentious disaster of one at that.

An Alan Smithee Film -- Burn, Hollywood, Burn might have one of the worst titles ever thought up, but then it is fully in keeping with the movie's self-destructive tendencies.
