Levi has a smirking quality to him that sometimes reads as if he can’t believe he’s starring in this crap. He is credible as a clean-cut, all-American boy, however, and he and Paquin work as an onscreen couple. In fact, some of their banter is kind of cute. The supporting cast has its charms as well.

A heart warming story about (what appears to be) a genuinely good person(s). However, the dialog alone drags the film below the 5 threshold. A safe film for watching with your kids. About as edgy as store brand Vanilla ice cream. Oh, and Dennis Quaid is in it. Why? Because of course he is.

Put your politics aside. This is a particularly good movie that was inspiring and made you feel good after watching it. I wish there were more movies like this. I have much more respect for the Warners and their family. Kurt and Brenda are true winners.

A solid formula sports picture with a light dose of faith and some overt small town America “conservative signaling,” and a generally entertaining movie thanks to a decent lead and stellar supporting cast.

It's sad so many critics put they own nonsense politics over doing their job - reviewing movies. Sorry religion upsets you, get over it.
