Some good one liners to be found here, Seann William Scott also pulls off a OK performance. Kind of continues the saga of Stiffler. The issue I was left with is that this movie is plain stupid and to some degree also boring. Left me asking "so f*2@#ing what?".

If you were looking for this movie in the store it's actually called American Idiot. But I would stop looking because I turned this off. It doesn't hold your interest and honestly you feel sorry for the guy to the point where even our vouristic tendencies don't help the situation.

a troubled child with a puma named scotti and its a she. that part was funny. the movie in general is depressing. its not haha comedy its more like dark comedy. i think people satisfy by knowing that other people have it worse than you. other than that nothing special lots of alcoholic stories

This movie is classified as a comedy, but only has a few laughs.. the rest of the movie, you are scratching your head, asking yourself... What the heck is this...

Colour me serious, but I have a fondness for comic actors playing dramatic roles. I'm the sorta guy who prefers it when Jim Carrey and Adam Sandler go out of their comfort zones and play it straight. And so I approached Trainwreck with some optimism, having faith that Seann William Scott would come up with something interesting. He's pretty good here, likeable as always, which is a good thing because his character has little going for him and the whole project just feels like the indulgent ramblings of someone who really isn't that interesting. The story certainly has an air of authenticity about it, you really couldn't make this shit up, but it also feels pretty formless as a story. The editing is sloppy, the direction bland, and its really only in the last 15 minutes that things begin to catch fire, literally. For the most part though the only empathy I felt with the main character was by sharing his attention deficiency.
