Donald Sutherland and Forest Whitaker... what more can be said. Whitaker was never really appreciated until Last King of Scotland but he is an amazing actor. The stories in this movie tie together quite nicely and let you think and make up your own conclusions. Those who have anything negative to say about this film are a) gun loving, peace hating Americans or b) lack the intelligence to read between the lines and think for themselves.

Not much to say about the first three films other than I disliked them all. [i]Collateral[/i] was slick but rather predictable.

Not a bad story. The actors are some of my favorites so I have nothing but good to say about their performances. The direction could have been better and frankly it seems like the the movie is burdened with a "message". Could have been better if the "guns are bad" message had been removed.

Preachy and disjointed message film raises some interesting questions, but then plays them out in the most obvious ways imaginable - usually with melodramatic screaming matches. Excellent performances, but none of the stories seem to lead to any satisfying conclusion. Some of the jittery hand-held photography is just nauseating.
