I saw this before hearing about how "bad" it was, and it became one of my favorite movies. And I am not a chick flick fan. I am a sucker for the space program and Hawaii, and for many of the stars in the film, but although the storyline got a bit predictable, I thought overall it was good, great cinematography, good performances. I don't see what the hate is all about.

I don't care how many bad reviews this got. Only Cameron Crowe can have his actors say so much, without saying anything at all. No, this wasn't one if his best. But i can say i always walk away smiling after seeing his films.

I liked this movie so much, I signed up with a flixster account just so I could leave a rating. It's funny at times, but also deals with some real issues. I thought they did a wonderful job with the complexities in relationships. Great acting - often very subtle. I just loved all the layers to the characters. And of course, Bradley Cooper hasn't looked this good in awhile. It's a great film when you want something not too intense, and just enjoyable to watch.

This movie was well written, touching, and emotional. You could connect to the characters and their situations. The scenery was beautiful and filmography was stunning. I would highly recommend this movie.
