Emotional and melancholic drama about forbidden love in Sweden during war time. Great performances by both lead and supporting actors.

I share the thirst for knowlidge with Stig, the main character. I saw this movie first as a teenager and it thaught me that all love is not good for you. Some love can burn you for life. There are many interesting layers in both the story and character development. Widerberg ties them all together to make the point both complex and simple. The films end is very satisfying, at least for me.

Teenage Scandinavian angst. A teenager and his teacher have an affair and he learns valuable lessons about life and love and husbands. Very watchable.

This is a good swedish movie about love between a teacher and a student of hers. That is as much as i remember must see it soon again. :)
