Age of Heroes (2011) Directed by: Adrian Vitoria Unrated, 1 hr. 30 min. disappointing. character building to an anti-climax. the deleted seen/gaps were annoyingly advantageous to stimulate some imagination of your own (not surprising with some attributes from 007`s 'Ian Flemmings' (real life) time with Intelligence during WWII). I really thought would be better but good enough action camaraderie flick, would recommend ;)

polecam dla lubiacych klimaty chÅ,odu i mrozu - choc potencjal na film zmarnowany i ta koncowka... ale Sean Bean swietny jak zwykle

Fairly average WW2 action pic, but with the interesting twist that it attempts to portray one of the operations Ian Fleming ran before inventing James Bond. I didn't think Danny Dyer was going to make for a good Fleming and he doesn't - he's one of the rough diamonds who joins Fleming's Commandoes and he's quite good as that. The film is fairly reminiscent of The Heroes Of Telemark ( Commandoes, Norway, lots of snow).

Closest movie I have seen to the game Commandos. Beautiful snowy locations. It feels a bit dry and the directing could use some work, but it's a satisfactory film.

War film a bit short in people. It has a very realistic and unrehearsed tone that is best during the shooting sequences. We feel right there with the bullets flying around. Otherwise, it feels like a tv movie at times. The music is annoying and distracting as if the drama was not obvious enough. The insane things done at war do not amount to much heroism though, when you think about it.
