Against the Dark (2009)

When most of the population of Earth is infected by a virus and transformed into flesh eaters and blood drinking creatures, a group of hunters lead by Tao and his sword chase the vampire zombies to eliminate them. Six non-infected survivors try to find the exit of an abandoned hospital crowded of the infected creatures. Meanwhile, the military is ready to bomb the whole area.

this movie was terrible! the story was stupid, at first it was scary and gross, then just got more boring and more boring

there's some quality gore in this and not much else. i only watched it for 2 reasons: because it looked like complete garbage (which it was), and the girl on the back of the cover looked like a girl i dated for about 2 weeks about 4 years ago (and she didn't even have any lines). i'm feeling generous today, so i'm going to say that this wasn't as bad as i thought...but it was still really bad. and there was surprisingly little seagal. how keith david ended up in this is beyond me, seeing as how he's still getting work in decent movies. or, at least, he was getting work in decent movies. so, one star for the gore and the fact that i'm gonna get through the whole thing.

Not terrible as far as zombie movies go. I like Steven Seagal, although his role in this movie is a little silly. It was reasonably entertaining.

aside from a couple of decent action scenes, this movie works niether as a horror film, or a steven seagal movie, not the worst film hes been in but close
