This was the most emotional documentary I have ever seen. Just unbelievable how poor our justice system really is.

Not much in life is worse than being convicted of a crime you didn't commit.

What emerges from these stories is a picture of the fallibility of the system and the vulnerability of innocent citizens, whom even scientific evidence cannot protect from incompetence, ego and prejudice, and of the courage of the exonerated victims to make meaning of their tragedies.

Sheri Linden 22 Jul 2016

Puts a human face on the failings of the American judicial system and the growing importance of DNA in legal proceedings.

Pretty interesting documentary. Got kind of redundant after a while. Not much you don't know. But is really depressing when you think about how ridiculous the legal system can be. But I'm glad I watched it. (paraphrase) "The evidence was there and showed he was innocent, but the prosecution argued he didn't file his paperwork correctly and has been in jail for three years since" (for a total of 22 years)
