Inspiring and candid documentary about Barack Obama's campaign. Truly moving and very well made. I'd be interested in seeing the same quality of filmmaking in a documentary about John McCain's campaign.

This movie covers President Obama's campaign from the time he decides to run for office up till his election. It's nothing special, but it's interesting to get a behind-the-scenes look at all the things that go into running a successful campaign.

Experienced goose bumps of admiration once in 15 minutes of the footage. Terrific man and terrific deeds.

Slow-paced, one-dimensional docu captures historic election

I did manage to learn a few things about Barack Obama from viewing this documentary: - His "mom jeans" faux pas at the 2009 All-Star Game doesn't seem to be a isolated incident when not in a shirt and tie. - Obama seems to have a pretty decent jump shot. Beyond that, I can't think of much that I saw in these 2 hours that wasn't already covered during the campaign. While it can be said that this was an inside look into a historic campaign, this movie has only limited appeal. Any person that already dislikes President Obama is not going to find his personable appeal refreshing. Meanwhile, Obama's supporters aren't going to learn anything that they probably cannot already recite verbatim. At that point, this documentary seems to be more on par with each season's World Series DVD: great collector's item for fans of baseball or the championship team, but not much else.
