It’s no surprise to learn this was developed from a short film; it has a short’s fragmented, tone-poem quality, but not the sustained coherence of a feature.

An artful interpretation of a futuristic world where women are considered irrelevant once they reach a certain age. This film is beautifully shot and incredibly smart. The emotional restraint builds to a gut-wrenching conclusion and I cried my eyes out. Unforgettable.
