Not what I expected. Hilary duff was very dark and somewhat weirdly creepy in this one. Evan Ross was very good. The content was dark and I liked the graphics from Duff's journal. The ending was a little cheesy though.

Surprisingly, I really enjoyed this film. Duff proved she can handle a serious role, the directing of the movie had a very 'independent' vibe to it. The pace of the movie was really smooth, very well done.

Pretty realistic portrayal of a depressed angsty teenage girl with family issues. I liked the emotion behind it and the symbolism. Cinematography was amazing and so was the design of the journal sequences. Totally underrated.

When you see the trailer, it looks like another teen fluff movie, but in fact, it has more depth. You'll definitely laugh in this movie. It's not the best movie of the year, but I would recommend taking a chance to watch it. For some reason, the plotline is very misleading. The trailer is a better source for the plotline.

It was a pretty decent movie about a misguided girl who just needs some people along the way to help her and give her attention. Hilary Duff gave a good performance. I enjoyed this movie. It wasn't half-bad.
