it was more of mohabbatein part 2 rather than reservation...except bacchanji and bajpai rest was a blur!

Subtle it ain't and subtle it needn't be. It is, though, mostly involving (if Bollywood long, at 2 hours 45 minutes) and even occasionally stirring.

Poor script, writer and director had no clue what direction to take the movie to. Whether be it based on controversial reservation (affirmative action) system [that in my opinion is eating India out and is insult to hard working honest student] or make it about commercial education system that parallels the official govt. institute. As far as movie goes, after interval it is nothing but a social documentary. Acting is fantastic and that is why 2 stars, else movie is dump - don't waste your time and money on this movie.
