In this pitch black comedy the rivalry between two neighbors escalates into an all out war. Through a maintenance error on a tractor they both end up, paralyzed, in a wheelchair. Tati-esque pacing, crisp black-and-white photography, and marvelous non sequitur moments lead up to a killer punchline, delivered in typical laconic style.

Sooo foreign. I was laughing hysterically, but it is hard to say if the laughter was justly earned as I was pretty stoned.

Comedic genius of the highest order. Dry, dead pan, dark, but most of all, relentlessly, achingly, pant-wettingly hilarious. The two leads play their parts to perfection, making you love them, no matter how horrendous they are. Everyone should have the chance to see this.

Road movie inclassable, hillarante reprise de "sonny" pour un tout petit budjet: mon cher Benoit, mon cher gustave, chapeau.
