Glorious adaptation of the book-- the music and the scenery conspire against the strictures of social convention. Maggie Smith is delightful.

A Room with a View enjoys its storytelling so much that I enjoyed the very process of it. The story moved slowly, it seemed, for the same reason you try to make ice cream last: because it's so good.

so romantic, it takes place in gorgeous Tuscany in Italy in the summer time, a perfect James Ivory movie just like I like them, it never gets old. My all time favorite one.

A gorgeous rendering of the book. An outrageously good cast. A romantic comedy with wit and poignancy. I was in heaven for two hours.

One of the few movies that does justice to the book. Amazing locations. Best acting comes from Maggie Smith foremost, closely followed by Denholm Elliot (Mr. Emerson). Everyone does superb with their characters, they are all so spot on. Helena Bonham-Carter's first role, and even though it kind of shows, thats how the character is in the book, so it works for her benefit. Love this film!!!
