The slapstick comedy antics and string of relentless Groucho one-liners seemed more tired than subversively funny.

Not a spoof of Casablanca, a movie all on its own. Although that didn't stop them from giving the occasional nod and a wink to that other Casablanca film. A solid Marx Brothers' movie with acrobatics and witty banter. However, I get the impression that they started to become a parody of themselves.

Very underrated Marx Brothers comedy, It's one of their best films with many unforgettable gags and one liners. Harpo is at his best. Laugh out loud funny. Just wonderful.

A weaker outing for my beloved Brothers, but it has plenty of good laughs. I love the line amidst cigar smoke haze: "Its like living in Pittsburgh. If you can call that living." There is a weak ensemble cast around the Boys, and some of their acting is first reading bad. A cute and enjoyable film.

Apparently the elderly Marx Bros made this due to the need for money. And fast. I get that. At least they get to make a movie if they need some cash to pay off gambling debts whereas I would just go for the broken legs and hope that they were so badly broken that it would land me on long term disability so I wouldn't have to work again!
