Christopher Guest, Parker Posey and Eugene Levy and more go at folk music with their improv movie documentary style garnering great results. I think it's funnier than Spinal Tap even!

Before you pass judgment on this movie, watch it at least twice. This film is played so straight and the humor so dry that you will miss a lot of it during the first viewing. Only during the next few viewings do you start to get all the hilarious jokes that are just under the surface, and everywhere in this movie. Add to it characters that are bizarre but genuinely worth caring about, with music and performances by the actors themselves, and you have a great movie.

And not a bad looking fella to boot!! Ah, what charm Chris Guest and friends brought to This Is Spinal Tap is here in spades with the inclusion of Catherine O'Hara and Eugene Levy as Mitch and Mickey setting off a perfect behind the scenes look at folk music. It's like we've got one brain between us!!
