10,000 km intimately played by Natalia Tena and David Verdaguer as a couple spending a year on separate continents. It's a long-distance relationship struggle, exploring the ways technology gives the illusion of intimacy while failing as a replacement for actually being together in person. In this debut film from Spanish director Carlos Marques-Marcet is a slow burner, conceal in their apartments and palpable emotion that seem real life.

this film was great.the premise is a little sad but the story as a whole is very captivating.last week I saw Z for Zachariah with only 3 actors through the entire movie,this one only had 2...I guess I should rewatch All is lost with Robert Redford now...

Despite Sergi and Alex's mutual vow that their separation will change nothing, this is an indie drama. These two are doomed. That sense of inevitability comes more from knowing genre convention than it does from anything about the actual characters

Intenso relato sobre una pareja que trata de mantener su relacion a pesar de la distancia. Alex (Natalia Tena) se muda de Barcelona a Los Angeles para realizar un proyecto fotografico, dejando a Sergi (David Verdaguer) solo en el departamento de comparten. Ellos llevan ocho anos juntos y se sentian listos para ser padres y este proyecto retrasara sus planes un ano. "10,000 km" explora la complejidad de las relaciones a distancia y muy atinadamente exhibe los avances tecnologicos como herramientas que acercan y a su vez provocan ansiedad entre esta pareja; mas alla de esto, la cinta funciona por el atinado casting, la quimica entre los actores es palpable y le da a la historia la credibilidad que requiere. Vale mucho la pena. (Texto intencionalmente sin acentos).
