Zombie Undead (2010)

A car roars through the darkened country roads. Inside, a distraught Sarah, holding her stricken dad, Mark, is desperately trying to stem the flow of blood. Having been re-directed to an Evacuation facility on the edge of town, Steve, an off-duty Paramedic is in a race against time fully aware that Mark's chances of survival are rapidly slipping away. The scene that greets them on arrival is one of chaos. The floor, awash with blood, is covered with the bodies of the dying and injured, doctors dart back and forth, clearly overwhelmed. A violent convulsion causes Mark to lose consciousness, heart stopped he slumps to the floor. As the adrenalin needle slams into her Fathers heart Sarah stumbles back and her world fades to black. Not even diehard fans of the zombie genre should put themselves through this swill. The problems are almost all because of the low budget (the rest of them are because of how apallingly derivative it is) but they are too glaringly obvious to get past.

Smothered in ketchup, the non-professional cast stumble around much like their living dead adversaries.

Mike V 02 Jun 2011

A group of amateur actors fight non-professional zombies smothering each other in cheap gore make-up and the fakest fake blood in horror film history. This sort of thing needs real originalilty or a sick sense of humour to work but all it offers is a banging soundtrack and a teasingly good opening sequence. Still, it looks like a masterpiece if compared to Zombie Driftwood!

Zombies are fun, movies are fun... but the combination, zombie + movie, ain't always good. Here is an example. Dull!
