Great performances in a very well directed drama. Like all of Fox's films, the ending should be re-shot...which is why i avoided the 5 stars. but it is still a beautiful film.

This tragic and heartbreaking film is not that bad but still a little too simple. It only shows a few moments of Yossi and Jagger together and adds more subplots, which isn't exactly a good idea if the film is kind of short. It could have been longer to add more character interaction and development. Director Eytan Fox does better in the film The Bubble.

An overrated movie with a pretty good plot set-up that falters whenever characters have to display any emotions. The rather timid love scene comes early on and after that, the movie seemed to fixate on boring side characters. The set up for the ending comes about halfway through the film and anyone with half a brain knows what to expect.
