Wonder Man (1945)

Boisterous nightclub entertainer Buzzy Bellew was the witness to a murder committed by gangster Ten Grand Jackson. One night, two of Jackson's thugs kill Buzzy and dump his body in the lake at Prospect Park in Brooklyn. Buzzy comes back as a ghost and summons his bookworm twin, Edwin Dingle, to Prospect Park so that he can help the police nail Jackson.

I always love Danny Kaye, but it's nice when the movie is good too. This is just a lot of fun to watch. "BUZZYYYYYYYY!!!!"

Nice Danny Kaye vehicle that allows him to get plenty of cabaret numbers on to film. The actual story is run-of-the-mill.

I LOVE THIS MOVIE!! I Loved it as a kid and I never get tired of it. Danny Kaye is hilarious and great in it! The songs and performances are top-notch... It's kind of a fantasy about twin brothers that are total opposites. The nightclub singer brother gets killed and then as a ghost begins to contact his bookworm brother--it makes for a lot of zany fun! "Is this the bus to potato salad?" :D On "My Favorite Movies" & "My 5 Star Funnies" lists. VHS.
