During a failed art heist, the Djinn is once again liberated. This time, to complete the 1001 wishes that he needs before the final 3, he lets himself go to prison, where he starts his evil reign twisting the hopes of the prisoners. Meanwhile, the woman who set him free accidentally, Morgana, tries to find a way to stop him, aided by a young priest.

If not for Andrew Divoff this film would be trash. Luckily the last Divoff Wishmaster movie let's him pay the character with the amount of sleaze ball fun a premise like an evil genie goes to jail deserves.

not to good at all, the story wasnt really to good, just seemed like an excuse to keep the franchise going, didnt have that many good parts at all, overall a little boring

The first wishmaster took itself a little more serious than this sequel. Did Sholder realise that the first was just funnier than it should have been? The sequel just takes the piss out of itself, the preacher accent is emphasised and it is just comedy. This film is bloody hilarious!
